I am EmotaArts, a passionate self-taught artist with a calling that blossomed from my earliest days. I have always been immersed in the art world, inspired by great masters such as Sorolla, El Greco, Velázquez and other light painters specializing in realistic portraits. Every stroke and brushstroke of their masterpieces have enriched me throughout my life, and now, I have decided to share my passion and skill with the world.

Since 2016, I have had the honour of exhibiting my work on various platforms, from virtual galleries such as Saatchi and ArtQuid to physical galleries such as Expometro Barcelona. My goal is to bring the beauty and detail of my portraits to a wide and diverse audience, transmitting the essence of each person through my works.

Portraiture is an art form that not only seeks to capture the physical features of the subject, but also their personality, character and message; it is a form of communication between the artist, the subject and the viewer.

The beauty of a portrait depends on the subjectivity of the observer. It is not found in the object itself, but in the eyes of the beholder. Each viewer interprets the portrait according to his or her own sensitivity, culture and history. My oil and watercolor portraits are a celebration of artistic expression. From your photographs, I apply techniques that bring the image to life in a unique and personalized way. My preference is oil, as it allows for exceptional results that will stand out in any environment.
